What do I need to do in order to use Dynamic Web Charts?

You will need to do the following before you can use Dynamic Web Charts:

  1. A site defined in Dreamweaver that includes the Testing Server settings. In the Testing Server section, you must specify the Server model and Access.
  2. Have a page open in Dreamweaver that has been saved within your defined site and matches the server model you specified.
  3. With this page open you will be able to open Dynamic Web Charts.

Do I need a Recordset on my page to use dynamic data in the charts?

You do not need to have a Recordset on the page to use dynamic information. You will only need to ensure that you have a database connection established. Inside the wizard you will specify what information from your database that is to be included in your chart.

How do I make changes to the default colors for a chart?

Using the Dynamic Web Charts Layout Manager you can select a particular style and duplicate it, then edit it. You can also make changes to the original chart directly if you wish. When you edit your chart, you will be able to directly manipulate the XML code involved.
