Buy Now/Add to Cart buttons

The Payment Buttons for PayPal panel provides quick access for inserting payment buttons on any page of your website. All the Buy Now or Add to Cart buttons you have created in your PayPal business account will be listed here.

The difference between Add to Cart and Buy Now buttons

Whether to use an Add to Cart button or a Buy Now button depends on what you are selling and where on your site you are.

Add to Cart buttons: Useful if you are selling a more than one product and expect the customer to continue shopping before completing their purchase.

Buy Now buttons: For use on product detail pages or when you are only selling a single product/service. This takes the customer straight to the page for completing their purchase, without an opportunity to continue browsing your store.

Adding buttons to your page

With the Payment Buttons for PayPal panel open, adding these buttons to your page requires just a single click.

  1. Place your cursor on your page where you wish the button to be inserted.
  2. From the Payment Buttons for PayPal panel, select the button you wish to insert.
  3. Select the Add to Page link.
    The button will be inserted to your page where you placed your cursor.
