Dynamic Dropdowns causes CSS Menu to disappear

Dynamic Dropdowns causes CSS Menu to disappear

HI - this is an odd one. Hope you can help me out guys.

Following the Dynamic Dropdowns GSG to the letter, when I reach page 7 point 4 [Create dynamic array], my CSSMW menu system screws up completely on that page.

Tabs disappear, as do CSSMW menu drop downs. Text on tabs remain as (working) links but no tabs, just a line of text links. This ONLY screws up the menu in the page with the Dynamic Dropdowns - no template-wide changes are being made.

It still looks normal in Design View and previews fine in LiveView (DWCS4) but in IE it's total carnage! Carrying on the GSG to the end, all works perfectly fine from a functionality standpoint.

Can you advise what changes I need to make to bring my menu back to life please?

Many thanks, Ann

The problem is that the Create Dynamic Array behavior adds code abovethe doctype tag which causes the css layout to break.

To fix the problem:

in the server behaviors list, select the Create Dynamic Array behavior. Switch to code view, the code for the Create Dynamic Array Behavior will be highlited. Right click the highlited code and select Edit -> Cut.

In code view find the <head> tag, place your cursor at the end of the line that contains the <head> tag, and hit enter to start a new line. on the new line use the keyboard shortcut crtl (cmd) + v to past the Create Dynamic Array code. Save the page and test.
