WA_Import

I rec'd the following error message:

While executing onLoad in WA_ImportSite.htm, the following Java Script error(s) occurred:
At Line 184 of file C:\Program Files\Adobe|adobe Dreamweaver CS4\Confirguration\Commands\WA_ImportSite.js; document.navButtons.document.btnBack has no properties

Import Javascript Error

I received the same error this morning. Other errors include "at line 215 btn back has no properties." Never had a problem with importing a site. I'm using 2.1.1. on a Mac. I deleted the macfilecache, uninstalled the WA site import, reinstalled it, and even uninstalled Dreamweaver and reinstalled it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I get the error While executing onResize in WA_SiteTools_Progress.htm, the following Javascript errors occurred:

In file WA_SiteTools_Progress refreshUI is not defined.

Never had much luck with this Importer and I will have to use other importer due to all the issue I have with this utility program.

Site Import V2 is not compatible with Dreamweaver CS4, it is only compatible with Dreamweaver 8 and CS3. Site Import V3 is compatible with Dreamweaver 8, CS3, and CS4.

Mikael Kjellstrom,

try deleting the Dreamweaver cache file from the users configuration folder. See the following for more information:

WA_Import

Hi, I've always used Import 2.1.1 with CS4 almost weekly without any problem until this morning. In my post you'll see what I tried to do including ditching the macfilecache. I did update a couple of other WA extensions. I wonder if that could be the problem?

The updates to other extensions may have updated shared files that are causing Site Import not to work.

We never made any updates to Site Import V2 for CS4 compatibility, nor have we done any testing on that platform. Dreamweaver CS4 is not a platform we offer support for Site import V2.

That is not to say that it didn't work for you in the past, but where it is not working now, we cannot offer support since there were no updates made for CS4 support or testing.

Before Dreamweaver CS4 was released, we released Site Import 3, site Import 3 was made to be compatible with Dreamweaver CS4, and was tested with that platform.

Since I've never gotten any word that possibly my pricey SuperSuite and other extensions may not be good any more, where can I find out what IS compatible with CS4? I can't find it anywhere on the website or in my account...?

Jason,

Thank you, deleting the cache file solved my problem.

WA_Import Error on PC

Okay... here goes. I have Dreamweaver 8 on my PC. I downloaded the Site Import 2.1.1. and changed the activation. When I went to WA Site Import, an error message came up "While executing onLoad in WA_ImportSite.htm, a JavaScript error occurred. Any ideas?

p.s. I did delete the dreamweaver cache file on the PC.
