CSS Form Builder 2.0.1 install note

If you have Security Assist 2 and / or HTML Editor 3 installed, you should follow these steps on installing the 2.0.1 update:

1) Uninstall the previous version of CSS Form Builder if it is installed.

2) Uninstall Security Assist 2 and HTML Editor 3

3) After uninstalling those extensions, delete the cache file in the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.pdf

4) Reinstall the extensions using this order:

1) CSS Form Builder 2.0.1
2) HTML Editor 3.x (the latest version from the download center, currently 3.0.2)
3) Security Assist 2.x (the latest version from the download center, currently 2.0.4)

CSS Form Builder has not been updated for compatibly with DW CS6.

At this time, the only extensions we have that are compatible with DW CS6 are Design Extender, Data Bridge and eCart 5.

If you need to use CSS Form builder in DW CS6, I would strongly urge you to upgrade to Design Extender which includes form builder and 7 other extensions.

we will be evaluating the stand alone extensions in the coming months for compatibility but with 30 extensions, it will take some time to go through them all.

Oh, that's too bad... Data Bridge

i have several extensions that are not compatible with CS6 so i wonder why Adobe did not build in backwards compatibility, but then i don't as the larger they have gotten with no real compititon...

is there going to be an upgrade special for Data Bridge coming anytime soon? i had been thinking i might do the upgrade but a nice special would be good since so many extensions are vasiclly dead now and this is the 3rd time i have been caught with dead extensions from WA ... Thanks

we offer upgrade pricing for data bridge that will deduct what you have already spent on the stand alone extensions up to a 50% savings making the upgrade price a minimum of $149.
