Known Issue and Fix - Missing Toolbar items

If you notice missing toolbar items, you can replace them updating the admin_cms/contents_insert.php and admin_cms/contents_update.php pages. locate the following code:

$CKEditor_config["toolbar"] = array(
array( 'Source','DocProps','-','Save','NewPage','Preview','-','Templates'),
array( 'Cut','Copy','Paste','PasteText','PasteWord','-','Print','SpellCheck'),
array( 'Undo','Redo','-','Find','Replace','-','SelectAll','RemoveFormat'),
array( 'Form','Checkbox','Radio','TextField','Textarea','Select','Button','ImageButton','HiddenField'),
array( 'Image','Flash','Table','Rule','Smiley','SpecialChar','PageBreak'),
array( 'FitWindow','-','About'),
('/'),
array( 'Bold','Italic','Underline','StrikeThrough','-','Subscript','Superscript'),
array( 'OrderedList','UnorderedList','-','Outdent','Indent'),
array( 'JustifyLeft','JustifyCenter','JustifyRight','JustifyFull'),
array( 'Link','Unlink','Anchor'),
('/'),
array( 'Style','FontFormat','FontName','FontSize'),
array( 'TextColor','BGColor'));

and replace it with:

$CKEditor_config["toolbar"] = array(
array( 'Source','-','Save','NewPage','Preview','-','Templates'),
array( 'Cut','Copy','Paste','PasteText','PasteFromWord','-','Print','SpellChecker','Scayt'),
array( 'Undo','Redo','-','Find','Replace','-','SelectAll','RemoveFormat'),
array( 'Form','Checkbox','Radio','TextField','Textarea','Select','Button','ImageButton','HiddenField'),
array( 'BidiLtr','BidiRtl'),
('/'),
array( 'Bold','Italic','Underline','Strike','-','Subscript','Superscript'),
array( 'NumberedList','BulletedList','-','Outdent','Indent','Blockquote','CreateDiv'),
array( 'JustifyLeft','JustifyCenter','JustifyRight','JustifyBlock'),
array( 'Link','Unlink','Anchor'),
array( 'Image','Flash','Table','HorizontalRule','Smiley','SpecialChar','PageBreak'),
('/'),
array( 'Styles','Format','Font','FontSize'),
array( 'TextColor','BGColor'),
array( 'Maximize','ShowBlocks','-','About'));

I've done that, Jason, but I'm still missing my format option. Here's a screenshot of my editor. Ray was working on this with another member, so he may know how to fix this. showthread.php?t=19113

I just tested the fix code, and it is working for me.

Double check that the updated admin_cms/contents_insert.php and admin_cms/contents_update.php pages are being properly uploaded to the server.

I a couple of instances, I have not seen changes to the toolbar code "take" until I performed a hard refresh on the browser using the ctrl+F5 key combination.

Hi Jason,
I uploaded the php files again. I hard refreshed and I've looked at the admin page on two separate computers and operating systems and still not receiving the tool bar that is presented on the admin home page. No format section and many other features missing too. If you'd be willing to take a look, I'm happy to give you my password and username.

Thanks for the help!

I'm having the same issue with applying this update. I've confirmed that the "contents_insert.php" file uploaded with changes to the server. But I don't see anything change with the html editor. It still is missing the "Styles", "Font Format" and "Font Name" elements. Sounds like the same problem already reported. Whatever solution was found with the above reported issue would be nice to have appended to this thread. I have a feeling it'll be the same solution for me too.

Unable to Browse Server on image upload

Hi Support - I am unable to upload images on PowerCMS 2 site.

Having uploaded original code back in February, the only time I have had to make any changes to code occured when following this advice to replace missing toolbar items last week.

What I get is the toolbar now correctly populated but when I try to upload an image, having clicked on Browse Server I get the following message "Please Wait - loading.."
It then just hangs on this page:
index.php?uicolor=%23eee&theme=webassist_v2&CKEditor=ContentValue&CKEditorFuncNum=1&langCode=en-gb

Everything else appears OK as I can add, edit and remove text, change styles, fonts, size etc

This site has a webassist folder therefore I have not applied the security fix.

I have also tried reverting to the original code prior to the "Missing toolbar items" change and still I have a problem.

Unfortunately, I cannot tell you when the upload image function last worked as neither I or the client can remember.

Thanks in advance for any pointers to this problem
Mac
