No create LInk when creating new pages

Hi.

I have the same problem as Steve posted here: showthread.php?t=19877

I can create a new page in content admin, and view it. But there is NO create Link anywhere.
And when I view the original (template) page, it has changed to my newly created page.

What is going on here?

Can anyone help?

Regards Chris

cant create link

Hi.

I´ve got the same problem. Just bought and installed the Supersuite and tried to make a new site. When I make new content, the link did not show up in the front-end, even that i have done what the poor manual says:
1.From the Content column, hover your mouse over the template.
2.Click the green + icon that displays next to the template.
3.Enter name for this new page..
4.Edit the content of the new page like you would any other CMS content location.
5.Once you have updated the content, click the Create Link option to see how you can create a link to this new page.

Where is the Create link option??

I must say until now i´m very disapointed width the Supersuite. A lot of PHP warnings and failurs.

Please help width this issue.
Robert

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem like Chris.

How can this be resolved?

Thanks!

With the new template page selected in the Content List, look just below the "Choose the content area you wish to edit below" heading, there is a link there for "View this page"

This will open the page in a browser, look in the address bar of the browser for the URL to use in your link, for example:
template.php?Template=3

each page will use a different number in the URL querystring to target the specific page content.

No link created

Hi Jason

Yes, i´ve tried that out and it works. The problem is from my point of wiev, that is not what the product promise you and what worse is, if you want to build a cms site for a customer, you cannot expect that they can handle this tecnical workaround.

And the question about where the "create link option" link or button is, has not been answered.

There is no Create link option, You would need to manually add the links to the pages using the address from the view this page link.

If you view this thread:
showpost.php?p=95718&postcount=2

i give steps to edit the menu so that new pages will be added automatically.
