Known Issues for PowerStore 2

Below is a list of known issues in PowerStore 2. None of these issues are new; there are existing threads for each known issue. This is only an attempt to consolidate that information for those who have NOT migrated to PowerStore 3 or still have v2 stores. If you have not already made these fixes, log in and visit the Download Center. Click on PowerStore 2; then click on the Known Issues section. Download the zip files for the issues you want to fix and follow the instructions in each of the readme files.

Bugs in PayPal Express Checkout payments page
Thread: showthread.php?t=8963

Customer's "shipping" last name does not transmit to Paypal using Direct Payments

Using USPS Shipping and setting the Carrier to Parcel will cause an error in the shipping and the confirm.php page will redirect to the checkout_failure.php page.

PayPal Express Checkout order verification email is not being sent to the customer.

(Full) Registration confirmation email is not sent and email receipt is also not sent when the customer checks out.

None of these are issues in PowerStore 3.

Where is the "Known Issues about Powerstore 3"

OK, so where is the consolidated patch/fix/update information for Powerstore 3?

Example: The input fields do not change the database values for

ProductNAME
ProductSKU.
OPTIONGROUPNAME

The inputs are accepted, but they are not "sticking." i.e. the change is not posted to the database fields.

Are you sure you don't have a different issue? I have had zero issues like your describing on the three stores I have created with PowerStore 3.

My guess is that there is something else going on there. I am sure there are plenty of folks here that can help track down the issue if you can post a few specifics.

PS3 ProductSKU/Product Name updating

PS3 Product managment issue
Both the Product SKU and Product Name fields are not being updated when changed.

Process
Step 1:
Select to enter a new product.
Add a couple of catagories
Add a couple options
Save product

Step 2:
Select to update product
edit product SKU and/or Product Name
Save changes

Step 3:
Re-enter the update page for the product
Observe that changes were not saved.

I did not ask you about Powerstore 2. I specifically asked about PowerStore 3.

Is there a consolidated patch list somewhere...and could you possibly just update the fixes in a hot-fix and post them to the product page along with the appropriate change control docs.

Elton, we released 2 known issue for PS3 today, they are available for download in the known issues section of the download center.

I have tried reproducing the problem with product management that you are reporting, and am not able to.

I have created a support ticket so we can look into this issue further.
