Integration of CSS Form Builder, Universal Email, Data Assist

Can you please explain to me how to use your following products together: CCS Form Builder, Universal Email, Data Assist.

Is there a video or other tutorial as to how they would integrate together to create forms and submit them via email or send to database. Thanks.

We do not have a specific tutorial on using these three products together but here is an overview of how you could make use of them.

Create the form
use CSS Form Builder to create the form that will gather the information

Insert the data
Add in a DataAssist Insert server behavior to store the info from the form in your db

Send the email
apply Universal Email to the page to send the info in an email message

These would all be very basic implementations of the tools. We have a guide for sending the form contents via Universal Email, it can be found here in the Solution Recipes section:

Please post back with any questions that you have about any part of this and we will be glad to help you get it going.

Why is it so difficult to make a tutorial and PDF about this subject? I think it's common sense to offer this. When you sell a Dynamic Suite you expect a good explanation about the whole interaction between the different extensions including Form Builder.

Still waiting for this and a proper update for Form Builder, because I posted this information 3 days ago (and got no answer!) I write this one more time. Form Builder gives unpredictable results in Vista 32. Text field size is changing. Edited parameters are gone when you reedit and lots of times it's not even possible to edit because the old design is not recognized by the editor and a different form is visible in the preview. Then the person who wrote the code sure likes divs, because the whole page get filled with them.

Can that not made simpler, when I write the code my self for the same form I need 1/10 of the code which appears now and it cost me 1/5 of the time I need with Form Builder.

I have elevated this to engineering so that these issues can be looked into further. To check the status of your ticket or update it please login and visit your support history.

As for the documentation we are always looking for suggestions and feedback. If you could please detail this request and any other suggestions through our feedback form to ensure that all relevant depts receive the info. We do take into account the feedback we get here but having it entered into the feedback form is very helpful also.

It would be very kind of WA to consider making this step by step tutorial on using these tools together as it seems they have to be used in the workflow. I really hope to see it online soon!
