ecommerce site displaying problems

Hi, I am trying to get my ecommerce site to work... I have created the page and it displays perfectly on my computer, however when I upload it to my server space the page is not displaying properly. I have completed the steps in the sp_db_connection.pdf ... is there anything else I need to do? I am working to a deadline (I have been trying to get this to work for about two months!) so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks so much.

Is there something I am missing? When I view the page online it does not display half of the page (it displays perfectly on my mac though?) and says that no database is selected... but I thought I was doing that when I worked through the pdf tutorial?
Please help! I am in need of help fast!!

you need to first create the PowerStore database on your Hosts MySQL Server, Then Update the connections/localhost.php file to connect to the hosts MySQL server.

Your host should have a panel that allows you to access the MySQL server, most likely using PHPMyAdmin. using this tool, you need to create the PowerStore database using the database/store.sql file. Your host should also be able to give you the correct settings for connecting to your database, you need to update the connections/localhost.php file to use the correct settings to connect to the database on the hosts mysql server.
