Error and hang when updating menu

I created a menu several weeks ago without difficulty using Menu Writer.
HOwever, today when I tried to change a link in one of the menu items I get
error messages "error generating menu (wa.generate.menu): Type Error:MM.WA_create processing object is not a function" and the WebAssist Sitetools window appears with the
"Processing" progress bar showing but nothing happens.

I've tried removing and re-installing the CSS Menu Writer extension to no avail.

Using Dreamweaver CS4, Menu Writer 2.0.3, Mac OSX 10.5.8

Please help?!
