Authorize.net Emulator

Authorize.net Emulator

Can you work with an Authorize.net Emulator. We are working with a payment processor that has another payment gateway and they have an Authorize.net emulator?

If so, do I just send you the ID, KEY and Post URL?

What payment gateway is this that you are working with?

From the sounds of it however, I don't think this would work. PowerStore v2 is only set up to work with PayPal and Authorize.net. If you're using an Authorize.net emulator, wouldn't it be easier to just use Authorize.net directly?

Not always

In my case not always because restriction of Authorize.net. My client is a authorized weapons seller and Eprocessingnetwork.com allows him to process transaction where authorize.net does not. Eprocessingnetwork.com has a authorize.net emulator to process the transaction but I constantly getting the same error even after hard coding the AuthNet_PHP.php file to point directly to order.pl

Ln45 - curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL,"https://www.eProcessingNetwork.Com/cgi-bin/an/order.pl");

I am driving myself nuts trying to figure this out.

what is the error?

Any time you report an error, you must let us know what the error is. Saying that you are getting an error, but not including any details about what the error says does not give me anything to go on to try and figure out the cause.

It would be about the same as me replaying and only saying "Sure, i can fix that"

EProcessingNetwork.net Authorize.net Emulation

There been several threads about EProcessingNetwork.net Authorize.net Emulation process and I would like to compile it down to one thread so I can get a documented fix action. We are trying to get PowerStore 4.5 work with EProcessingNetwork.net "Authorize.net" emulation. EProcessing.net states the the recommended Payment Gateway Settings are the following:

Gateway: Authorize.net
Login: EprocessingNetwork.net Login ID
Transaction Key: EprocessingNetwork.net Transaction Key
Transaction URL: order.pl

The error occurs during transaction process (with debug enabled) at the end:

The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the the account is inactive.

Please advice what the fix action is.

The error is telling you that there is an issue with the username and password being passed to the Gateway.

In the Full Request, you should be able to see the password that is being used, Are these correct?

If they are correct and still being rejected by the gateway, you will need to contact them to determine why the gateway is not accepting the transaction.

EProcessingNetwork.net Authorize.net Emulation

Austin IT has already done extensive testing with EProcessingNetwork.net to test this theory by changing the default setting that EProcessingNetwork.net uses to test their Authorize.net emulation process. Even using that default settings, EProcessingNetwork.net was not able to see me even hit their test payment gateway.

Now does WebAssist think that it could be something with the AuthNet_PHP.php file? We have hard coded on line 45 to do the following:

curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL,"https://www.eProcessingNetwork.Com/cgi-bin/an/order.pl");

Is there anywhere else where it is hard coded to point to the Authorize.net gateway?

That file is the only file that sets the address of where the transaction is being sent, If it is not being set to the www.eProcessingNetwork.Com server, then I would question whether the change is actually being uploaded to the server.

Solution: EProcessingNetwork.net Authorize.net Emulation

Mr. Byrnes,

Thank you for your reply but I know it was not a FTP issue. It was a code issue. To get it working with EprocessingNetwork.net's Authorize.net emulator, the AuthNet_PHP.php code has to be changed. First, find the following code. It should be between line 42 and 51.

<code>
$ch = curl_init();
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST,1);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS,$AuthNet_values);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL,"https://" . ($reqArray[1][4] == 1 ? 'test' : 'secure') . ".authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll");
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST, 2);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER,1);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, FALSE);
$resp = curl_exec ($ch);
curl_close ($ch);
</code>

Change it to the following:

<code>
$ch = curl_init();
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST,1);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS,$AuthNet_values);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL,"https://www.eProcessingNetwork.Com/cgi-bin/an/order.pl");
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST, 2);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, $_SERVER['HTTPS']);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER,1);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, FALSE);
$resp = curl_exec ($ch);
</code>

I have a sneaking hunch that if you just change the CURLOPT_URL to point to any other Authorize.net emulator, it should work.

are you saying that that code change _does_ or _does not_ work?

In your previous post it sounded like you where saying that code change _did not_ work.

In this post it sounds like you are saying that code change _does_ work.

I agree with you that the code change should work, I was replaying to say that if changing that code _does not_ work., I would suspect that it where an FTP issue of the change not being live on the server.
