Date Picker - Independent of CSS Form Builder

Thread began 1/27/2010 1:08 pm by dlovas275157 | Last modified 2/01/2010 6:38 pm by dylan399236 | 2377 views | 3 replies |

Date Picker - Independent of CSS Form Builder

It would be nice to have the DatePicker available outside of CSS Form Builder. It is not convenient to rebuild your forms just to add a datepicker.

ADDT had a very easy/quick to implement datepicker not tied into any other extensions.

'Bare-bones' DatePicker

Hiya D,

I know this isn't what you are after, but it might be worth having a look at. It is just a page with the bare-bones of a single date field with the datepicker applied, linked to a folder with the required css, js and images.

This makes it very easy to apply the head and form-field code to an existing form page. There is also a choice of light or dark date picker.

I dropped into the 'wishlist' area as I wanted to make a suggestion then spotted this post.

I'm finding CSSformbuilder to be extremely clunky and I currently have an unresolved post in the CSSform forum regarding UK date formatting.

I looked at this post as a seperate datepicker seemed like a solution (make the CSS form myself then add WA datepicker). Thanks for the link Neilo, the datepicker you linked to does UK date format by default so does a better job for me than the WA datepicker.
