Error in Check out

I have installed the patches for usps problems. But every time i test with a product I get this message.

Your transaction could not be completed. Either your credit card information or billing address has problems and cannot be processed

Please return to checkout and try again.

To debug this issue, pleas open the WA_eCart_USPS_PHP.php file which is located in your WA_eCart folder, and look for this line of code:

$WA_USPS_Response = curl_exec ($WA_USPS_Curl);

and replace it with:

$WA_USPS_Response = curl_exec ($WA_USPS_Curl);
print("<pre>");
print_r($WA_USPS_Response);
die();


save the page and try to check out again. On the confirm page, you will get a text output which will include the response from USPS. Please copy and past the output to a file and attach the file to this thread.

Hi Dani... similar problem here

But apparently not all the time as an order was processed...

But not another customer... and not even me ordering something just now.

We use UPS, however, not the post office, I don't remember seeing any patches needed for UPS.

Any ideas? I know I put my info in right...

fixed!

Here, what stopped it, it being Authorize.net's system, was the code for the apostrophe that was in the product name.

Just using a regular apostrophe stopped the PHP from working.

It's gone and reworded and all is well.

Thanks for replaying.

There is not patch for UPS, the patch is for using USPS and specifically Setting the USPS Carrier to PARCEL.

Could you WebAssist people please post a PowerStore 3 Known Issues thread with ALL of these patches and fixes listed so that those of us who have purchased this buggy product can easily find them rather than having to waste hours painstakingly going through this forum to find them all??? Many of us are having the same problems. Would just help.

Checkout Error

Hi Dany;

Sorry I have not done anything before but my wife was sick. She is a Menier Disease patient and when this happens she needs 24/7 care. Below you will see what we received after doing the checkout. Let me know what can I do to solve the problem.

Then I programmed the patch below on my WA_eCart_USPS_PHP.php page and here's what I get:

Make sure that you are using Live Credential for USPS shipping as they don't allow to use the Testing Credentials then the testing server is removed. Try contacting USPS and make sure you receive live credentials.

Dani - I contacted the USPS yesterday and requested the credentials and still have not heard back. Does anyone have an idea as to how long this takes? And so far the only way I've found to request the live credentials is via this email address? icustomercare@usps.com

Has anyone else had better luck with another way?
