Check form field against session variable?

I'm using secureimage captcha in my form and VTK for server side vailidation. If I place the secureimage include correctly above the VTK processing code the session seems to be created before VTK does it's work. Is there a way I can check a form field against the just created session variable with VTK? I want to send emails with universal email if VTK passes. Thank you.

Make sure the session variable name is available in the bindings panel. If it is not there already add it by clicking the plus button and select session variable then typing the name, remember, php is case sensitive.

In server validation, choose the Like Entry validation type, for the server variable choose the captcha form element and click the plus button to add it, you will then be prompted for the variable to compare to, choose the captcha session variable.
