Have you tried deleting the cache file? Please follow the directions for deleting this file here:

common_installation_issues.pdf

If the issue persist then there may be a corruption of your configuration folder. If this is the case you will need to rename this folder to get things working. Here is a link to the instructions for doing this:

cms menu error

I followed
Dreamweaver CS3 /users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver 9/Configuration/

it's not there

Dreamweaver CS3 C:users/[username]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Dreamweaver 9

I cant locate it there as well.
The only place that I could find it C:/Program files/Adode/Dreamweaver cs3, and when I deleted the cofiguration file under it, and restart dreamweaver, it says configuration files cant be found reinstall dreamweaver.

I've also reinstall cssmenu writer but still tthe same

Type

%appdata%

In to the address bar of My Computer, or Windows Explorer. (or the Start > search [Vista] Start > Run [XP] box)

This will bring you to the 'Roaming' folder under which you should then click on 'Adobe' then 'Dreamwever9' - and that should show you your configuration folder.

The full path is:

[Vista]
C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver 9\Configuration

[Windows XP]
C:\Users\Neil\Application Data\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver 9\Configuration

Not sure what a Mac path would be, but %appdata% will get you most of the way there.
