Known issue (and solution) in eCart 4 with Sage Pay/Protx

There was a bug discovered in eCart 4 for the Sage Pay (Protx) VSP Server payment gateway. If you use this payment gateway and have experienced a checkout failure on the verification page, you will want to download the fix. The fix is provided in all 4 server languages via a file in the Download Center that you can just copy/paste to any of your sites that use this payment gateway.

Log in and visit the Download Center. Click on eCart 4; then click on the Known Issues section. Download the related zip file and follow the instructions in the readme file.

The fix doesn't make any sense...

It says to:

This zip file contains an updated version of the Protx_VSPServer file for all four server languages to fix the issue. Please copy the one for your server langages to the following location in your site:
/WA_eCart/COScripts/

However, there isn't a COScripts folder - just a checkoutScripts folder - and the file in that folder (Protx_VSPForm.asp) doesn't match the one provided (Protx_VSPServer_VB.asp)... copying the replacement file over the original just creates issues.

I'm running the latest version of eCart.

Do you not plan to release a never version of eCart with all this fixed?

this issue is for the Protex VSP Server implementation.

You are using the VSP Form Implementation.

this is why you have a different file name and a different folder structure.
