Renaimg uploaded files with Digital File Pro

Can you tell the syntax required for renaming files uploaded using Digital File Pro.

I am uploading either doc, docx, rtf, or pdf files and I want to rename them with an id # extracted from a record set, followed by the fielname and extension, with any spaces replaced with an _ if possible.

So a filename might look like this

Look for the DFP function: WA_DFP_UploadFiles on your page and for the forth parameters, you will need to change it to look something like this:

"".$row_Recordset1['ID'] ."_[ExistingFileName]"

You can see that we are concatenating the ID to the file name. But to replace empty space with underscores, we will need to add this statement:

$_FILES['fileField']['name'] = str_replace(" ", "_", $_FILES['fileField']['name']);

before the DFP Upload server behavior.
