HTTP 500 Error - Bad Install (?)

HTTP 500 Error - Bad Install (?)

I have installed PowerStore on a Win2003 server.
Tested PHP at my store URL and PHP is fine and responding.
Created a new DB in MySQL and generated tables using the script provided.
When I use IE to browse to the store URL or to the admin sub-directory I get an HTTP 500 error. If I turn off "show friendly error messages" I get no error, just a blank page.

Using Firefox I get no error, just a blank page.

This means that the php error reporting is probably turned off since a 500 error indicates a server side script issue. To enable php error reporting you can update your php.ini file or put in some code at the top of your pages. Here is a link to a thread that has the code you should put at the top of your page:

Give this a try and let us know if you have trouble with the error that is occurring.
