lightbox question revisited

okay, I just bought the gallery solution and it led me to an issue I brought up 2 weeks ago in this forum. 2 weeks ago I posted this thread here about wanting to add lightbox to uploaded photos dynamically.
showthread.php?t=7327

the answer I got from Dani was this
"--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can't add the light box effect when the image is being uploaded. You could only get the light box effect when the image is being displayed on the page itself.
"

But yet...now it is possible with gallery??? Was this just a brush off? I guess I need to dig into gallery to figure out how you made it apply automatically....by myself.

I gotta say that this is somewhat rude to say it can't be done, (except by making the client code it in themself)...then 2 weeks later come out with a product that does just that !

In powergallery the lighbox effect is applied on the page that displays the image after it is uploaded, just like Dani suggests. They are just all combined into a multiple page solution so it works seamlessly.

The difference I think is that you were using HTML editor to upload and specify the images. PowerGallery uses a custom upload script and stores the images into their own image database. It allows us to fully customize each image and script where it is displayed unlike the html editor which places each image in context.
