QueryString Binding Issue with DataAssist Sort

I am working through this tutorial: link_sorting.swf , but I am having an issue when I get to the stage where you need to create a QueryString binding...

I type "sort", then click "ok" and I get the following error message: "There are no QueryString bindings defined for this page".

What am I doing wrong as I am following your tutorial???

When entering in the QueryString Binding name, try hitting tab and/or enter a few times before finishing the wizard. The name sometimes does not get saved correctly unless you do this. This issue should be fixed in the next release of the product.

RE: QueryString Binding Issue with DataAssist Sort

Thanks for your reply. That has solved the problem. Sounds like a software bug that needs fixing to me though, as I can imagine lots of other people having the same issue.

That is correct, there is already a bug logged and it will be fixed in the next dot release of the product.

I'm getting the same error. I tried pressing tab and enter a bunch, but still get the error.
After that error I get:
The following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
At line 746 of file "[pathto:]WATrigger.js":
ReferenceError: WA_getDocumentDOM is not defined

I uninstalled and reinstalled the extension. Still get the same result.

Thanks in advance.

What version of the extension are you running, what version of Dreamweaver and which operating system are you running on? If you're using Mac, please specify Intel Mac or Power PC.

Sorry about not supplying that info in the original post. Meant to do it and it completely slipped my mind when I was typing.

Extension version 2.0.6
Intel Mac OS 10.5.8
Dreamweaver CS3 Version 9 Build 3481

Not sure if this is any help, but I got the same error and ignored it. I then went on to set the sort server behaviours and it worked perfectly on my local test server.
