Surveyor coincidence ??

I don't know if this is just a coincidence but the first day I used Surveyor I got a phone call from someone asking is we do sitemaps because they do XMLsitemaps and they guarantee me they can get better results. How does some random dude call me. Can someone see I posted with Surveyor and who I came?

I don't see how they could. Surveyor posts directly to the search engines, so there are no third parties or opportunities to view your posted data. I don't think the search engines themselves have a way to find recently submitted sites, and further I'm not sure how they could ever trace it back to your phone number. Was this phone number also listed on your web site?

Anyone else have this experience? I haven't heard of that happening before.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

No, my phone number wasn't listed on the site submitted.

Maybe it's just a strange coincidence. I just thought I would
ask if this happened to anyone.
