Need to Change SiteAssit Background Images

I love the structure and just need to swap the background image. I can't figure it out.

Please advise....

Thanks!

Which background image?

Supposing it's the header div background image, place your cursor anywhere in the header div, and in the elements info bar at the bottom of the DreamWeaver screen (above the properties panel) click on div#header to select the div.

In the CSS Styles panel (in the side-bar) double-click on the background-image property (see attached screen-grab).

In the css Rule Definition window that opens up, click 'Browse' to select the image you want to replace the existing one with. You will need to have sized it same as the old one if you are accepting the given header dimensions.

Click OK.

Do the same for any div with a background image you want to change.

Sample is attached

That makes perfect sense and thanks for the stellar response time. I am glad I chose you!

I am not talking about the header though and I do understand what you say about selecting the div and replacing. It is the background in the main content area I can't get too, please see attached image. I cannot seem to select it. Does it reside in the outerWrapper? I just don't seem to be able to select it to replace it.

Thanks!

Hi AAron,

In which case it's likely to be the 'div#contentWrapper' div. Without knowing which site design, layout, style etc. you used I can't be 100% positive, but follow previous instructions but select div#contentWrapper in the elements info bar.

See how you get on with that, and we can take it from there.

I went into split view in DW and navigated through the code and got to it. For some reason whenever you click on the field in design view it selects the buttons.

It is in the (#outerWrapper #topNavigation).

Thanks so much for being an awesome resource and your superior response time!!! I am sure you will hear from me again. Really, you blow your competition out of the water!

Best,

Aaron

Yes, - the response time here can be great - it's the WA staff plus the loads of Webassist groupies (I am one) who make the WA support tick over really nicely. And yes, - it does beat the others by miles. There are very experienced people hanging out here who have helped me too many times to mention.

Glad you got sorted.
