Dreamweaver cs4 crashed...S,O,S

Dear Tech Support,

Every time I tried to run WebAssist Site Assist 3.2.3 my Dreamweaver CS4 become crashed with the following general errors;

"Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 has encountered a problem and needs to be close...."

Following troubleshooting guide, I have tried to delete system configuration/cache of DW CS4 but it does not help.

I have removed and reinstalled Site Assist 3.2. but the crashed still there.

However other WebAssist extension i.e. Universal Email/CSS Menu Writer/CSS Form Builder are working fine with my DW CS4.

My DW CS4 has the latest update from Adobe.

What should I do to be able to load and use SiteAssist extension.

Thank you for your kind attention upon my tech support submission and I am looking forward to hear from you soon.

Regards,
Budhi.

Even thought the section has a different title, I would try step 7:

There are two configuration exist...

Thank you for your advice,

I have looked into the corresponding folder and find out there are two Configuration folder exist inside en_US folder, which are:
Configuration and Configuration-1

The first folder Configuration has all the extensions I have installed in DW CS4
and the second folder Configuration-1 the extensions content is empty.

Does this condition is correct/normal? Do I need to delete the second Configuration-1 folder? Before I do step 7 as per your suggestion...

I am looking forward for your next advice...
Thanks a lot.

Regard,
Budhi

DW is going to use the one that is just named Configuration so the Configuration-1 should not have any affect on things. If you rename the configuration folder or delete it the folder will automatically be recreated for you. After you rename or remove this folder make sure to open the extension manager and remove any remaining extensions that are listed before attempting to install any.
