javascript error tried everything still won't work

I see there has been many errors installing css sculptor on cs4, I am having the same problem, i've done all on previous threads and still get javascript error below:

while executing onLoad in wacs_serial.htm, the following Javascript error occured:
At line 214 of file Shared_Ser_Mactivation.js document has no properties.

help would be much appreciated as spent all day yesterday trying to sort it out, it works fine on my cs3 just doesn't on cs4, I'm on a mac 10.6 snow leapord.

That line of code indicates that you are running into issues connecting to our server while activating. You will need to be able to connect to our server when activating so that the correct license file will be written to your machine. If you have any firewall, security or virus scan software installed, please disable these when trying to activate and see if that works for you.
