WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php on line 544

The following error shows up after I fill in the registration form created with FB and given a server behavior of input with DA.

"Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Delimiter must not be alphanumeric or backslash in /var/www/zona/WA_ValidationToolkit/WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php on line 544

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/zona/WA_ValidationToolkit/WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php:544) in /var/www/zona/WA_ValidationToolkit/WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php on line 71"

The form originally worked well and added the records to the database. I then made changes to then recreated the form with some modifications and applied the behavior again. That's when this showed.

I have uploaded the scripts.php and the registrationform.php in case you need to see the code.

Took a look at the site and tried my best to find any issues as it relates to the solutions provided. Couldn't find anything with my untrained eyes.

Did you try:
View -> Code View Options -> Hidden Characters

Yes, I was able to perform the tasks outlined in the page. However, I did not see any spaces or lines at the beginning of the document (other than the required <?) and the option in the save as preset is not checked.

So, without knowing more about php coding I can't really say that I found anything.

OK, I took a look at your files and on the first one I couldn't find any closing PHP tag. It looks like it was deleted.

Your second file keep crashing my DW but it looks like there were spaces in front of some of the PHP closing tags.

You might want to go back to the backups when they were working right and try adding your changes again.

Here's a question. I have a contact form on one page and this registration form on this page and another form on another page, all created with form builder. If I delete WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php and start over, will my other two forms be affected?

Well, I deleted everything related to these forms and replaced cssformbuilder, sprysassets, wauniversalemail and wavalidationtoolkit folders with a known good configuration already running on my site.

Started all over from scratch and still gives me the same problem. I tested it directly from FB and it works. Save it to the php file and it doesn't work. I did notice that when testing off the php file, my password field shows up with the error message already showing while directly from FB does not.

any ideas?

I decided to go ahead and try again building the form from FB using a new from blank on everything and it worked. So I'm back to business.
