CS4 Extension Manager Display Problems

CS4 Extension Manager Display Problems

Was wondering if anyone else has experienced problem with CS4 extension manager:

The extension manager 'opens' up minimised, and there seems to be nothing I can do normalis or maximise the screen. Right clicking it in the task bar, I can select 'restore' or 'minimise', (and it seems to think it has responded) but I can't seem to get it on screen.

Downloaded and applied the latest patch, - no change. I tried to uninstall extension manager via the CP CS4 uninstall/change route, but it won't let me uninstall extension manager unless I uninstall the other CS4 progs too. Have tried to reinstall over it, but says to uninstall first.

Driving me loopy, as I have just bought a few extensions (WA) and am having to install them one by one via the command line ("Adobe Extension Manager CS4.exe" -suppress -install mxp="pathto_yourextension.mxp")

Have to wait 'til my hard drive light stops flickering to judge when it's finished installing. It does do it this way, but it's a real pain.

I expected to google loads of solutions for this, but doesn't appear to be a common problem.

Unless someone jumps in here and shouts "STOP", I am intending to delete the extension manager programs folder and then see if it will let me reinstall.

Ta.

I have never experienced such issue before.

If you are going to delete your extension manager folder, i would recommend that you reinstall DW through the control panel.

Im Suffering Too!

Hi all,

I'm suffering from the same problem and cannot for the life of me figure it out. Can you tell me what you had to do to actually resolve this issue?

It looks like neilo reinstalled Dreamweaver and the extension manager, have your tried doing that. Another thing you could try is delete the configuration folder for the extension manger which is located under:

C:\\Users\\<Your User Name>\\AppData\\Roaming\\Adobe\\Extension Manager\\
