FedEx Shipping (Europe)

Do you or anyone have a contact that I can talk to about integrating FedEx shipping for a UK client, the only email address that I can find on their site has not resulted in any response to my inquiry as yet.

Thanks

I have spoken with some colleagues about this and we do not have a contact person that we deal with directly. Our contact has been through the standard website based channels. Do any of you UK user's out there have experience or info on this?

I finally had a reply this morning

Apologies for the lack of reply to your first mail – we have had some mailbox issues which has meant some mails failed to reach the support team.

I am sorry to inform you that at this time there are no Web Services available that provide domestic UK rating. We are trying to have this setup as soon as possible but we have no further information on it at this time.

So apart from UPS what else can I use in the UK ?

Is the DHL Module in eCart compatible for the UK for instance ?

DHL should support international shipping from a non US location. In the interface you can set the origin country and enter the duty account number and the customs value. This shipping quote server behavior is designed to work for international shipping, both to and from.

Thanks Eric but I wanted something that would handle domestic and international shipping if possible.

I think you should be able to do this with the DHL. If you specify your own country as the origin you could specify any other place you would like for the destination even if it is outside of the country. Maybe I'm not understanding the requirements for your particular situation correctly.

I think I need to DHL because to my way of thinking doing that would draw the rates from the international rate table rather than the domestic rate table

Thanks
