Authorize.Net Local/Remote Processing

Eric, I ran into problems that will affect my project related to the payment process. Please refer to my new entry in Ticket # 100961 and advise. You and Jason have the best handle on what I am trying to do and are best to understand what changes would be required. If I have to use Remote processing can we still send the confirmation email and update the tables with the details, & access codes?

I can not update (without affectying your queue) my other Ticket #110136 regarding the Add to Cart Button for Results Page tool error. If someone can confirm a window, I will be on standby.

Thank you for your help.

I read your reply, but I must confirm for sure, that if I use Remote processing we still automatically send the confirmation email (universal email) with both the details, & access codes? and update the mulitple tables (orders/detailorders/codes)? From what I have gathered from reading through older posts, eCart would set this up durring configuration if Local, but if configured for Remote then it has to be added manually after and some how?

I read your reply, but I MUST CONFIRM FOR SURE, that if I use Authorize.Net Remote processing we will still be able to automatically send the confirmation email (universal email) with both the details, & access codes? and update the mulitple tables (orders/detailorders/codes) related to the order?

From what I have gathered by reading through older posts on the Forum, eCart would set this up durring configuration if Local, but if configured for Remote then it has to be added manually after? In addition to what you sugested are there detailed instructions/tutorials/previouse threads online that I can follow while implimenting this, to make sure that I do it correctly. I am a little lost.

If you use the remote checkout then you will need to manually craft the sending of the email message with Universal Email. You will also want to update your order and order details tables to indicate that the transaction was completed if this is necessary. You should be able to use the regular eCart store order summary and store order details server behaviors. Sorry for any confusion on this part.
