I am wondering if BOSS requires the whole site to be php or its just the page with the search facility.

Only the Boss Results page needs to be PHP.

instructions / help about PHP

I'm about to build a client site in Dreamweaver (CS4) and I'm interested in SuperSuite and the BOSS extension. Are there clear / easy instructions for how to prep an HTML site and install it on the host server so I can implement the BOSS search engine? Also any other instructions on selecting a host server that will work with BOSS?

The BOSS Search implements a Yahoo search of your site on the page.

Before you can use the BOSS Search engine on your site, it must be cataloged by the yahoo search engine.

After your site has been cataloged, the BOSS Extension is very simple to add to your site.
