Nothing in Cart

Nothing in Cart

While working on this on my local computer/test server the cart worked perfectly. While there are many things to still do to tweak the site and a few pages to finish up, I wanted to test it on my web server since my host doesn't have SQl unless I wanted to pay $200/yr for it (will be time to change when the contract is up in Apr) so I am having it connect to my work computer for the moment.

The db part appears to be working fine as the pictures in the print store are showing up, but when you add an item to the cart it brings you to an empty cart page. Any suggestions?

index.php is the site.

Thanks!

You may be running into a php bug with session management on some servers where the session is not properly saved when using the header function to redirect.

On any page with an add to cart button, find the following code:

php:
<?php

// WA eCart Redirect
if ($<cartName>->redirStr != "")     {

header("Location: ".$<cartName>->redirStr);
}
?>

Where <cartName> is the name of your eCart object.

and change it to:

php:
<?php

// WA eCart Redirect
if ($<cartName>->redirStr != "")     {

session_commit();

header("Location: ".$<cartName>->redirStr);
}
?>
