Products_Results.php - "ADD TO CART" Function

I would like to add the "ADD TO CART" Button to the "Products_Results.php" page below the "LEARN MORE" Button. Can you show us what PHP markup needs to be copied from the HEAD & BODY on the "Products_Detail.php" and where to paste it on the "Products_Results.php"?

This is not something that can be accomplished with a simple copy and paste operation, you need to own eCart to modify the PowerStore results page for this.

I have eCart 3 will this work or do I have to upgrade. Also is there a Readme file on how to do this?

No, PowerStore was created using eCart 4, you will not be able to use eCart 3.

there is no tutorial for doing this.

before proceding, back up the page.

First change the recordset SDQL:

php:
$query_WADAProducts = "SELECT *, (ProductStock - (SELECT Coalesce(Sum(DetailQuantity),0) FROM orderdetails INNER JOIN orders ON OrderID = DetailOrderID WHERE DetailProductID = ProductID AND OrderDate > ProductUpdateDate)) AS NumLeft, (SELECT MAX(ProductPrice) FROM products as prod2 INNER JOIN productoptions ON productoptions.ProductID = prod2.ProductID WHERE  productoptions.GroupingID = products.ProductID AND prod2.ProductLive <> 0) AS TopPrice, (SELECT MIN(ProductPrice) FROM products as prod2 INNER JOIN productoptions ON productoptions.ProductID = prod2.ProductID WHERE productoptions.GroupingID = products.ProductID AND prod2.ProductLive <> 0) AS BottomPrice FROM products  LEFT OUTER JOIN productcategories ON ProductCategoryID = CategoryID WHERE ProductLive <> 0 AND COALESCE((SELECT GroupingID FROM productoptions WHERE productoptions.ProductID = products.ProductID LIMIT 1), ProductID) = ProductID";

to:

php:
$query_WADAProducts = "SELECT * FROM products";

Then you have to add an add to cart button to the page, and select the Lookup item from recordset option, then bind the cart columns to the recordset columns.

after adding the add to cart button to the page, change the recordset SQL back to:

php:
$query_WADAProducts = "SELECT *, (ProductStock - (SELECT Coalesce(Sum(DetailQuantity),0) FROM orderdetails INNER JOIN orders ON OrderID = DetailOrderID WHERE DetailProductID = ProductID AND OrderDate > ProductUpdateDate)) AS NumLeft, (SELECT MAX(ProductPrice) FROM products as prod2 INNER JOIN productoptions ON productoptions.ProductID = prod2.ProductID WHERE  productoptions.GroupingID = products.ProductID AND prod2.ProductLive <> 0) AS TopPrice, (SELECT MIN(ProductPrice) FROM products as prod2 INNER JOIN productoptions ON productoptions.ProductID = prod2.ProductID WHERE productoptions.GroupingID = products.ProductID AND prod2.ProductLive <> 0) AS BottomPrice FROM products  LEFT OUTER JOIN productcategories ON ProductCategoryID = CategoryID WHERE ProductLive <> 0 AND COALESCE((SELECT GroupingID FROM productoptions WHERE productoptions.ProductID = products.ProductID LIMIT 1), ProductID) = ProductID";
