Cannot install HTML Editor

I just upgraded from iRite to HTML editor. Before installing it I uninstalled iRite and I deleted Dreamweaver's cache file.

When I install HTML editor I first click "yes to all" as you recommend. The process runs to the end and then quits saying "Internal Error. Extension will not be installed."

This remark has never come up before with any other extension.

Can you help.
