ecart without payment at checkout

ecart without payment at checkout

Hi There

I have a potential client that would like to have an online store with a shopping cart and all the trimmings of a store. However when it comes to making the payment for the cart, they want to be able to use the manual credit card system that they have already in place.

I know that this is a bit antiquated but this is what they require. I presume that they want to receive a mail with the order and then they contact the purchaser for payment.

Is this possible?

Sounds like a can of worms to me. Most people that shop on line do so for convenience. Adding an extra step to the process sort-of eliminates that. Won't be long before your client asks if you can just get the credit card for them too.

Have a look at this:

I imagine you could just remove the payment processing after you build the cart. Might be easier to just recommend they contact their current credit card processor and find out what they can offer in the way of online processing.
