adding fields

Hi

yet another question ;-)

I need to add some fields to the users table most of which need to me options like

Sex: male/female and age 0-20, 20-30,30-40 etc etc.

I can create the fields in the database - all varchar (copy the settings for country)

But placing them on the form is it better to copy the code used for the country options and modify or is it easier to use data assist.

Thanks for all the help

Ian

Ian,

You could use Dreamweaver's form tools to add those... pretty simple to add dropdowns as well as dynamic functionality.

Are you asking something else that I am not understanding?

Best regards,

Brian

update

Hi

no, it's me confusing myself (not difficult!)

for some reason my brain was locked into desktop databases such as Alpha where you define the options allowed within the Database.

Now I see that it's evident that youi populate the database via the html form which is of course what OI've done before.

Off to take a pill!!

thanks

Ian
