WA_Globals and Security

localhost.php and Security

* I typed this wrong initially - I first said the file was WA_Globals.php... Sorry about that! *

I'll be showing my ignorance of what goes on "behind the scenes" here, but when setting the localhost.php file, we put the password to our database in the file.

Can some unauthorized person get to that password? What keeps something evil from getting to it?

Nobody can view php code without getting access to the page itself through FTP or physical contact with the server.

There is no more secured location possible, since you need to use it in the code to access the database it needs to be in the code.

This was just one of those questions that kept tickling in the back of my mind. Thanks for the reassurance
