PHP_EOL doesnt show breaks in email

Thread began 10/09/2009 12:39 pm by sam308940 | Last modified 10/13/2009 10:42 am by sam308940 | 2098 views | 2 replies |

PHP_EOL doesnt show breaks in email

I am using ecart, and I have the DESCRIPTION field set to join up to 10 options together. Options 1-10 (see below). I have breaks created between the options by using PHP_EOL. This works great online. however - in the email that is sent after the order, Im getting a blob of text, its just ignoring the PHP_EOL code. So Im wondering, is there something else I could use? Should I resort to just plain line breaks?

In the mail body, it will output the cart description with code similar to:

<?php echo $WA_Store_Cart->DisplayInfo("Description"); ?>

try using a string replace to replace the line breaks with <br /> tag:

<?php echo str_replace  ("\r\n""<br />",$WA_Store_Cart->DisplayInfo("Description")); ?>
