Ecart Administration Area

Thread began 10/09/2009 3:24 am by jelder390802 | Last modified 10/09/2009 12:49 pm by Jason Byrnes | 936 views | 2 replies |

Ecart Administration Area

I am looking for a e-commerce solution and found ecart. The one thing that I seem to be missing is the admin part of the product. Where would the store owner go to "run" the site? Where would they update the products and manage customers? I feel a little mislead and am sorry I paid the money to sign up for this thing. I did some research on this product and it said that it came with an admin section. What am I missing. And if there is an admin area, how and where do I find it?

eCart itself is a tool for building ecommerce sites and you build the site including admin area from scratch giving you complete control and flexibility, if you want a prebuilt solution then you should look at Powerstore which is a complete solution including admin area built using eCart and other WA tools.

you use DataAssist and SecurityAssist to create the Admin section of your eCommerce site.

the "How to create an Administrative back-end" tutorial in the How To section of the DataAssist support page will give instructions on how to accomplish this:
