update page image upload default file not inserting

After having a problem with the update page - update image content being deleted after updating I found on the forum there was a bug with this:
showthread.php?t=1060&highlight=default+isn%27t+working+properly+update&page=2

The problem being the default file is not saving what I enter using the lightning bolt and therefore not changing code.

HOwever I your latest release notes it records this as being fixed. As a new member last week surely the download I am given should cover this fix?

The temporary fix they outlined in the above listed thread is too complicated for me. I don't understand! I bought this product so I didn't have to start messing with code.

Yes, the new version of Digital File pro should have this problem fixed. try double clicking the Digital File Pro server behavior to edit it, on the second page, check to see if the default File value has been retained. If not, try selecting the hidden form element again, this time use the enter key on the keyboard before clicking the OK button.

If you still have problems:
Please compress your update page into a zip file and send it along with your reply so I can examine the code to see what the problem may be.

Thanks for your reply. No it is not retaining anything in the default field, I have tried various ways of doing this including the methods you recommended and none store what is entered in the default field. Attached is the zipped update file.
