only 'undefined' charts display

Hi all

I used the wizard to set up a connection and pass a parameter, but charts only show as 'undefined' with no data and none of the colours etc I have set. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to reslove this?

Thanks

This type of thing could happen if the data that was used was not valid. As a test of this you can try to create a static chart with data inputed from the wizard to see if it will display like that. If you can get it working like that it would indicate a problem with the data of some type.

If it does the same thing then you may be experiencing some other issue with the tool. Please give this a try and let us know what the results are.

Same issue

I am having the same issue as denley. I have done what Eric suggested and tried to use a static chart but that gave me the same "undefined" where the chart should be. Any ideas on what may be happening? The webassist wizard also freezes frequently causing me to shut down dreamweaver cs4 and start over.

I also get the following error when I open the page with the chart on it:

"This page contains some SWF objects that may not work properly in the most recent version of Internet Explorer.
Dreamweaver cannot convert them to the new SWF markups. Please delete each of them and insert again."

delete the Dreamweaver cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.pdf

can you also send a link where i can see the problem.

Deleted the cache and still have the same results.

The page is protected. I can send a link with a test login but I need an email to send link.

Revisiting this issue

I put this aside for awhile but am now really in need of a solution. I am still having the same issue with the "undefined" error showing when I create a chart. Any more ideas on what may be causing this problem? The chart I have created does use a session variable and I am wondering if that somehow may be causing the issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there an email address that I can send this information to? You'll have to log in as the chart is supposed to be linked to a session variable for the user. My email is sstark@workoutvillage.com
