How dynamic is Surveyor?

How dynamic is Surveyor?

I'm working on a site where the navigation is 100% controlled by MySQL tables. If I use Surveyor to generate the Site Map and my client adds a new sub_category, will the site map generated by Surveyor automatically add the new sub_category to his Site Map or do I have to build the Site Map again in DW and post it to my client’s site?

Thanks in advance for your reply,
Mitch

Surveyor itself is not relying on dynamic functionality, it just crawls the current version of the site to generate the site map. To include any new content in the menu you would need to update the site map. This is no different for a menu that is dynamic with MySQL than a static menu since by the time it is seen by the browser it is all static info and this is what Surveyor is picking up.
