question about extension updates

question about extension updates

I just noticed that there is an update to menu writer that I need to apply. I have built several menus and saved them in the menu writer directory. I haven't applied them to any sites yet, as they are not quite finished. When I uninstall my version of MW, and install the newer version, how do I keep those presets that I built?

gruant,

Your presets actually should remain in your preset manager... if you want to be doubly sure, you could back up your preset manager or "export" your CSS Menu Writer presets, say, to your desktop and then if need be, you could import them back in after installing the new version.

Cheers,

Brian
