Charts Don't Work

Charts Don't Work

Using DW CS4, and I'm unable to create even a simple static chart on a blank webpage.

Any ideas? I'm not even sure where to start.

Thanks

Edit; Here is some more information:
The software appears to be installed correctly - I can select it in dreamweaver and even create dynamic charts by connecting to my database. The chart will appear as a grey block with an 'f' on it once it has been created (I understand this is how it's supposed to look), but when I actually run the page it doesn't display at all. The rest of the page displays, but the chart doesn't.

I tried looking through the code but I honestly don't have that much coding experience so I'm not sure where to begin.

Okay, I solved my own problem. I'm posting it here in case someone else has this issue.

For me it had to do with scripting.

I was getting an SWF error message whenever I opened dreamweaver - from googling I found this error message isn't an error and it can be ignored, but you do need to do something for SWF.

I went to "Insert" --> "Media" --> "SWF", then I pointed the document to the test page I was currently working on. Dreamweaver then installed two 'Script" files for me. I then deleted the test page but I now have a folder called "Scripts" that dreamweaver set up, and now everything works great.

I'm not 100% certain what I did but 4 hrs of trying and clicking random things seems to have worked. My suggestion is to beef up the trouble shooting guide for this product.

Thanks for the input and I'm glad you were able to get the charts to work.
