Include OrderId number in email subject line

Greetings! I have a minor issue that I cannot seem to figure out. I would like to include the Order ID number of the customers purchase in the subject line of the email. The code that I am using is not working which results in a blank space in the email subject line right where I was expecting the Order ID to be visible.

Here is the subject line code on the checkout_success.php page:

$Email->Subject = "Thank you for purchasing order #".$_SESSION['eCart_OrderID']." on BugBitingPlants.com!";

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like that would work. Can you attach the page... My only guess is that the eCart_OrderID session variable isn't set yet or isn't set correctly.

Here is the checkout_success page. I am glad that you think the page should work. I was starting to think I am going crazy. : )

It looks like your session variable you display on the page is named: eCart1_OrderID not eCart_OrderID

Very interesting! I never noticed that before. Let me make a quick change to see if that works. I appreciate the help.

I just wanted to let you know that the issue has been resolved. After naming the session variable correctly, the OrderID number was added to the email subject line. Thank you for your help once again.
