page moves when I press Return

When I press return when writing in an irite text area the whole page moves.

I am using Firefox as my browser.

Any ideas?

Can you post up a link to a page where this happens? I've not encountered this issue before.

Sorry, the page is in a members only area, but I have done a quick screen capture of it.

Every time the screen jumps is when I press Return

I have figured out that the page jumps when I press return so that my cursor is on the bottom part of my browser.

Try upgrading to the latest 2.X version of FCK Editor. Here's a thread that explains how:

Daryl,

I can confirm that is do to a behavior in the older version of FCKeditor... I can also confirm that upgrading the FCKeditor package (on Jimmy's link) will fix that.

Cheers.

I replaced the editor folder and its contents as suggested.

Opened my page with irite, opened the edit part of irite, clicked through the tabs, saved, uploaded and also the contents of the irite folder, but nothing has changed.

Is there anything more that I need to do?

I have done it, thanks.

I had to replace the editor folder in the WA Irite Extension within DW and also the editor folder on my website.

Many Thanks

Right, if you just replace the content in the extension... you still have to go back through older sites and replace that code... but the good news is that now your extension will generate the latest version.

Best regards,

Brian
