Contact form captcha error php5.2

Hi,
I have been using the contact form pack with php 4.3 for some time now with no problems.
I experimented with using php-cgi 5.2 and the captcha image did not generate (all other php scripts worked fine)
Now I have moved servers to one with php 5.2 with gd2 enabled and again the captcha image has stopped being generated.
If I access the captcha image directly, ie.

MOM_T___.TTF

no image is generated, instead this error is generated.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagettfbbox() in /home/username/public_html/WA_ValidationToolkit/WAVT_CaptchaSecurityImages.php on line 125

Line 125 is -
$textbox = imagettfbbox($font_size, 0, $font, $captcha_string);

Help would be appreciated.
Contact Form Version is 102

The function imagettfbbox() requires GD library and the FreeType library. That error means that the FreeType or GD library is either not enabled or there is a problem with it.

For more information:
imagettfbbox

Notes

Note: This function requires both the GD library and the ยป FreeType library.

FreeType for GD was missing

I used the php function <?php phpinfo() ?> to view the details of the enabled php extensions.
GD was enabled but FreeType was not mentioned in the php info output (It should have an entry immediately below the GD entry).
I contacted my hosting admin and they enabled it.
The capcha images are now working as expected.
