how to set up dynamic dropdown in data bridge

The function is not yet described in the help / guide function on how to create dynamic database driven dropdown / select menues.

Is there any text guide or video guide on this available on this?

I wish to use it to populate submenues from the mail topics and such.

how to set up dynamic dropdown in data bridge

Hi Ray.

I have tried to follow both the video and the written guide and I get the plugin to load but the new select list is always blank and I can´t figure out why.

With the updated software and new data bridge it would be very nice to have a guide that´s updated as well. Most parts are the same but somewhere in the changes it seems to get lost.

I hope you are able to tell me where I go wrong in the attached files.

Best Regards
Jess

I couldn't say without looking at your database. I can see I get results when I choose Mobile, HP...

You probably want to add the same onclick event to the first select list as the second, so changing either refreshes the third list, but that isn't the problem with no results.

If you add this above your select list on your plugin page it will write the query to the page so you can test it in phpMyAdmin and that might help you figure out what is wrong with it:

php:
<?php echo($Model_list->debugSQL()); ?>
