My computer broke and I need to install the old sculptor files I used.

It just won't allow me to make a new sculptor page correctly. And I can't pull up an old one to use as a template

What happens when you try? Can I get screenshots or a detailed description of what is going on? Did you download all of your remote files first?

I am going to wait until my computer is fixed. I have a backup on a drive and hopefully, it saved everything. Is there a tutorial for installing all the old present designs I had on a save disk? Thanks so much for getting back to me, by the way. I still can't access my account with an old email I don't use.

You can copy the presets folder directly from one computer to the other. It should be in your users configuration directory: configuration/shared/webassist/csssculptor/presets

Finding those files?

I'm not even sure how I would find that. Also, are there detailed directions on editing a menu in Css Menu Writer? There is no edit button showing.

The files are in your users configuration folder. Are you on a MAC or PC? The path is different in each.

The edit button shows in the properties window when you select the script tag after the menu on the page. First make sure the properties panel is open by selecting Window->Properties. Then make sure that script hidden elements are displayed on the page by editing your Dreamweaver Preferences. Then it should be just a matter of clicking on the element after the menu on the page in design view.

Answer

Deleting a previous menu writer menu-

1) I have windows 10.
OH! I found the editing tool, Thanks so much... SO I don't need that. I just need to find the files so that when I move them from my backup, they will show in my list.
2)However, how do I delete a previous css menu writer menu to add a new one? I can't find a delete or info online.

To find your presets you can go to windows explorer and type in this file path:

%appdata%/Adobe

And then browse to the Dreamweaver version and configuration folder you had the presets saved in. Then find: configuration/shared/webassist/csssculptor/presets

You can then copy the presets from that directory and paste them into the new configuration folder.

Still not working

1) I am still unable to find the files using %appdata%/Adobe at Windows Explorer. I even went into settings to unhide the hidden.

2) My menu wasn't mobile friendly. The lower levels were hidden behind the upper levels. So I tried to delete the menu and make another, but now I've got multiple menu files that overlap.

3) What menu program do you use for your site? It looks different from the menu I get as it just bunches up?

Thank you so much for your help.

1) Just type: %appdata% into the folder location for windows explorer and your root user application data folder should show.

2) By default the menu isn't mobile friendly. I'd need to see a copy of the page to see why you have overlapping menus now.

3) I used menuwriter for the site, but then I added media queries to make the menu mobile friendly.
