DataAssist Search Not Working

DataAssist Search Not Working

I am using the DataAssist Search and I am unclear how to make the results page. I don't have the option for a Data Assist Search Wizard. On my screens, you can only select the fields you want to filter on and that is it. I have my form pointing to the results page which I did manually. On the results page, I created a recordset based on the passed POST field data. Not sure if this is correct. Please advise. Thanks

The results page should be unfiltered. Then you apply DataAssist search on the results page to filter the recordset used to display the results. The DataAssist Search server behavior doesn't need to be applied on the search page at all. Just submit your search form to the results page and apply the DataAssist Search server behavior there.
