Jamie

converting to hashed password

Hey Ray

How would I go about hashing the passwords (and usernames if appropriate?) from these pages and then creating a reset email to replace the 'send password' on the results page? Also, replacing the send password on the forgotpassword page and replace it with a reset password?

Appreciate that it may require a prem ticket but just looking to see how far I could get myself.

Thanks

Jamie

You should be able to run the security assist wizard to give you a sample file that does encrypted and/or hashed fields. It will create the update password page and email as well. Then integrate the pages or follow the concepts on your existing site. Explaining it here step-by-step would be tedious, but it is something I could definitely help with in a premier support ticket.
